Deer Lake Park

Vancouver has a ton of parks, but we've been so busy over the past few weeks that we haven't been able to explore very many yet. Thankfully, Deer Lake Park is just ten minutes away from us, so we try to go running here a few times a week. City life is busy and fast-paced, which can sometimes be taxing and wearing, so it's nice to have a break from the hustle and bustle.

This is one of the paths that we take leading down to the lake. It has great views of the North Shore Mountains.

The two peaks (aka "the Lions") of the North Shore Mountains.

There are nature trails and boardwalks that take you around the lake.

All of the buildings in the background are high-rise apartment buildings. We live somewhere in the middle.

We're guessing people don't really follow this rule. Our friends saw a coyote walking around Main Street the other day, apparently they roam everywhere.
