Springtime

Vancouver is really pretty in the springtime with tulips and cherry blossoms in bloom. Here are a few pics that we've taken over the past few weeks as we've been around the city.







Tis the season? We'd never seen this kind of tree before, so we took a picture and looked it up. It's called a Monkey Puzzle tree, an evergreen originally native to the southern Andes mountains in Chile and Argentina. You can't really tell from this picture, but the owners actually put stuffed monkeys up in the top of the tree.
