Our Amazing Race

With the Virginia and North Carolina legs complete, we pressed on to our next destination...Vancouver, Canada! Luckily, no major detours or roadblocks along the way. Our sweet friends Jon and Laura took us to the airport in their truck since we took up so much space. We had a couple of layovers in DC and Seattle, but everything was really smooth. It was definitely some of the easiest travel we've had in awhile (other than the packing of course)!

It was raining when we got to Vancouver, but thankfully the leaders of our urban training program met us at the airport to take our checked bags to our apartment for us. They gave us an envelope with a map, a bus pass, our apartment address, and keys and we were on our own from there!

We ended up having to take two buses and the Skytrain (elevated metro) to find our apartment, which took about an hour. Funny story on one of our buses...the bus driver made a girl sing "I'm a little teapot" because she forgot her bus pass. It was hilarious. Thankfully we had ours. We were soaked by the time we got to our apartment, but we made it!
