Canadian currency has both $1 and $2 coins. The $1 is called a loonie and the $2 is a toonie. Back in April, the first time I went for change to do laundry I asked for $1 coins and the cashier kept saying "a loonie?" Finally I realized he was talking about the coin and not me. Now I just ask for two loonies for a toonie :)
