Canada Day

July 1st is Canada Day, which is when all of the northern British colonies were united in 1867 to form Canada. There's usually a lot of festivals around Vancouver and a parade downtown, so we went to check it out. The parade was pretty small, but at least they gave us free flags to support our newfound Canadian pride. And there were definitely some people that really got into it. Afterwards, we headed to North Van to see the fireworks.
