There was a local band that played folk songs and everyone was singing along. Everyone but us that is...we were the only Americans there and not many people spoke English. We didn't know what they were singing, but after every stanza they would yell "Opa!" It was hilarious and totally like a scene straight out of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. They even pulled us up front to teach us how to dance, which was so embarassing. Even though we couldn't really understand anything, people who spoke English were really sweet to lean over or yell across our table to translate for us. It was really a great time with friends here!

Opa!
There is a local cafe nearby that's only been open a couple of months and we've been able to meet some of the people that work there. It is family owned and they hosted an open house party last weekend. They invited us to go and it was honestly the most fun we've had here so far. They had a ton of delicious food, but unfortunately, I can't remember the names of half of the things we ate.
