Granville Island

Yesterday we went to Granville Island to browse the public markets. Granville Island is really similar to Lonsdale Quay's market, but it's about three times as big and has lots of trendy little shops. As usual, we mostly just went for the food. It's overwhelming to the senses because there's SO much variety of food, you could literally spend days just browsing. The market was packed with people, which seems to be the norm on Saturdays. It's also a holiday weekend with tomorrow being Victoria Day, which is a federal holiday celebrating Queen Victoria's birthday. Everyone will be out at the parks all over the city tomorrow, including us!

This was our favorite shop, appropriately named "The Hang Out Place." Totally could have stayed here all day.

My clam chowder pot pie before I demolished it. Seriously, it was amazing.

Fruit towers, a rare art form!
