Local women are all about clean windows. I have to admit, I've never really thought much (or cared much) about clean windows until I moved here. Neighbors inspect each others' windows and critique them if they're dirty. A few weeks ago, a woman in our city died cleaning the windows after falling. Women tell me this apparently happens quite frequently.
In the building across the street, this lady uses a harness and steps all the way out of her window to clean it.
Falling from the fifth floor is not how I want to go out of this world, so this is about as far as I go...
Needless to say, our windows are always dirty.
