We have been thankful for some great friends here. Our first month here was really dry for friendship and at times, quite lonely. Everyone was out of town and most people were fasting for Ramazan. But just recently, in the past few weeks, a few people have really taken us under their wing and cared for us. Sunday afternoon, some friends took us to a beach town about 15 minutes drive away to walk or "gez" around.
